Designing the revenue architecture for an AI travel assistant
- Revenue streams designed
- 7
- Projected monthly revenue (conservative model)
- ₹36L+
Designed the full monetization architecture for YesCity's new AI travel assistant - a single conversational interface that discovers, plans, and books trips through one chat, aggregating hotels and packages via affiliate APIs.
The challenge
YesCity needed a business model for its new AI product that went beyond simple affiliate commissions - one with multiple revenue layers and a defensible moat - before committing engineering resources to build it.
The approach
Mapped 7 distinct revenue streams (affiliate commission, sponsored placements, a Pro subscription, lead-gen, white-label SaaS for travel businesses, transaction fees, and a future data-intelligence layer), modeled a conservative revenue scenario, and defined the product's competitive moat and growth flywheel.
